Hyreus are working on a new high priority requirement for a BMS Service Engineer in Dublin, Leinster working in a field role focussing on HVAC products in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Commercial sector.
Services include HVAC engineering, automation engineering, facilities management, energy services, HVAC start-up and commissioning, validation, and QHSE compliance across pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, laboratories, schools, retail, and commercial buildings nationwide. This is a mobile role requiring daily travel to client sites, primarily within the Leinster region, with occasional travel throughout Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) services across a diverse client portfolio, with a primary focus on Cylon and Siemens BMS systems.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and service activities in collaboration with the BMS Service Manager.
Diagnose and respond efficiently to system faults, breakdowns, and emergency callouts.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company SOPs, health & safety standards, and industry best practices.
Identify opportunities for system upgrades, optimisation, and energy-saving initiatives, and communicate recommendations to the BMS Service Manager for quotation and project development.
Meet site deadlines while maintaining accurate and timely completion of service documentation and reports.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain a strong customer focus, building positive client relationships and supporting the generation of additional service and project opportunities.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in a similar BMS or HVAC service engineering role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, automation, mechanical, and control systems associated with HVAC and BMS installations.
Electrical qualification desirable, with hands-on experience working on both high- and low-voltage systems.
Familiarity with BMS-related electrical infrastructure and associated field devices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Competent IT skills, including the ability to complete digital service reports and documentation.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
