Hyreus is currently recruiting experienced HVAC Project Managers for multiple opportunities with various clients across the UK & Ireland. We’re looking to speak with experienced project managers with a strong background in HVAC, mechanical building services and the delivery of complex engineering projects.
These roles will suit project managers who can take responsibility for projects from planning and design through to installation, commissioning and handover, while managing clients, contractors, suppliers, budgets, programmes and project teams.
Responsibilities
Manage the successful delivery of HVAC and mechanical projects from initial planning through to completion.
Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
Manage project budgets, costs, variations and commercial requirements.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure effective delivery.
Review drawings, specifications, technical documentation and project requirements.
Monitor site progress, quality and productivity against agreed programmes.
Identify and manage project risks, technical issues and potential delays.
Coordinate subcontractors and specialist HVAC contractors.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant health and safety legislation, standards and procedures.
Attend client, design, progress and project meetings.
Prepare regular project reports and provide updates on programme, costs and performance.
Support the resolution of technical and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and final project handover.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Contribute to continuous improvement and the successful delivery of future projects.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as an HVAC Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or similar.
Strong experience delivering HVAC and mechanical building services projects.
Experience working across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, manufacturing or other complex environments.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical services and project delivery.
Proven experience managing project programmes, budgets, contractors and subcontractors.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Strong commercial awareness and project management skills.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards.
Relevant mechanical engineering or project management qualification is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under project deadlines.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the UK & Ireland where required.
