Hyreus is currently recruiting experienced Maintenance Plumbers for a range of opportunities with various clients across Dublin.
We are looking to speak with qualified and experienced plumbers with a strong background in planned and reactive maintenance across commercial, industrial, facilities management and building services environments.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing plumbing and associated building services systems, responding to faults and carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance.
Diagnose and repair plumbing faults across commercial and industrial facilities.
Maintain and repair water supply, drainage and associated plumbing systems.
Carry out routine inspections of plumbing systems and equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate remedial action.
Complete repairs and maintenance in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
Carry out installation, replacement and modification of plumbing components where required.
Work on hot and cold-water systems, pumps, valves, tanks and associated equipment.
Support wider building services and facilities teams where required.
Complete maintenance records, service reports and relevant documentation.
Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
Work safely and follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Ensure work areas are left clean, safe and compliant following completion of tasks.
Support emergency and out-of-hours maintenance requirements where applicable.
Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of plumbing systems.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified and experienced Maintenance Plumber.
Previous experience in commercial, industrial, facilities management or building services environments.
Strong experience in planned and reactive plumbing maintenance.
Good knowledge of hot and cold-water systems, drainage and associated plumbing services.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering or facilities team.
Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to maintenance.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
Relevant plumbing qualifications or recognised industry certification.
Previous experience working within commercial or critical environments would be advantageous.
Full driving licence would be advantageous for field-based opportunities.
Flexible and willing to travel where required depending on the role.
