We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients new office in Greater Dublin focussing on Critical Systems in Datacentre projects.
This is a full-time hybrid position, offering flexibility to work both on-site and from home. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing project costs, preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and supporting cost planning and reporting activities. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor project costs throughout all stages of development
Prepare, analyze, and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
Provide accurate cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
Support project managers in ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance
Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain transparent communication on project finances
The Candidate:
Proven experience in cost control, cost management, and cost reporting
Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost planning
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid setting
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable
Previous experience in the energy or construction sectors is an advantage
