Hyreus is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Administrator to join a UK leader in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of industrial and commercial refrigeration. This is a part-time role based in the Manchester office of the Company.
The Health & Safety Administrator plays a key role in maintaining up-to-date health & safety documentation, ensuring staff are trained and that company supply chain is approved. The role also includes supporting the organisation in fostering a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update health & safety documentation, including policies, procedures etc to ensure compliant and in date (admin only)

  • Support with annual risk assessment updates (admin only)

  • Coordinate with departments and schedule health & safety training for employees and maintain training trackers & matrixes

  • Coordinate with departments and schedule in employee Health surveillance and file employee records securely

  • Coordinate with supply chain on H&S matters & maintain approved contractor register

  • Co-ordinating with service providers – office items only

  • Assist in maintaining accident reports and updating records

  • Updating company H&S registers and trackers

  • Updating company organogram

  • Support with preparation of induction pack & folders for new starters

  • Maintaining & updating hard copy files and folders

  • Support with preparation of H&S KPIS for quarterly H&S reports

  • Support with communicating health & safety updates to relevant teams

  • Provide general administrative support to the health & safety team, including meeting coordination and reporting, meeting minutes etc



The Candidate:

  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage and update records efficiently.

  • Good communicate skills and ability to communicate at all levels

  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability

  • Administrative Knowledge
