Hyreus are recruiting a Lean Practitioner to work with a company experiecning an exciting period of Growth in Ireland.
We are seeking an experienced Lean Practitioner to lead and embed continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by improving efficiency, reducing waste, enhancing quality, and strengthening safety performance through the effective application of Lean methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, improvement workshops, and cross-functional Lean projects.
Identify and eliminate waste while streamlining processes using established Lean principles and tools.
Coach, mentor, and train teams in Lean thinking, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices.
Partner closely with operational teams to implement and sustain improvements through visual management, KPIs, and standard work.
Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organisation.
The Candidate:
Degree-qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong track record of Lean implementation.
Lean Practitioner certification (Black Belt preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proficient in Lean tools and methodologies, including 6S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, PDCA, and root cause analysis.
Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
