This is a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on power generation installations
- Diagnose faults and efficiently complete reactive maintenance works
- Maintain and optimise operational performance of systems to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure installations operate safely, efficiently, and in line with company and customer standards
- Deliver high levels of customer service and technical support on site
- Participate in an established 24-hour call-out rota, including weekend and out-of-hours work
The Candidate
- Minimum ONC, NVQ Level II, or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical or electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies, or equivalent
- Time-served technician with ideally 3+ years’ industrial mechanical/electrical experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of gas and diesel engines
- Good IT skills, including competence with Microsoft Office packages
- Full, valid driving licence
