Hyreus are currently seeking a motivated and technically proficient Application Engineer / Internal Technical Sales Engineer to join our clients growing team in Dublin. This role is ideal for an individual with strong HVAC knowledge, a customer-focused mindset, and a passion for developing technical and commercial solutions that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities 

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors across the region.

Develop a deep understanding of market needs and client requirements to recommend effective and competitive HVAC solutions.

Prepare and present detailed technical specifications, quotations, and proposals aligned with customer and project demands.

Liaise closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.

Support the sales strategy to maximise turnover, margin, and business growth opportunities

Provide accurate and timely reports and forecasts to senior management.

Respond promptly to client enquiries, ensuring a professional and solutions-oriented approach.

Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a leading technical edge.

Ensure all activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. 

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service and technical support for our customers throughout the Dublin area and beyond.

 The Candidate:

 Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)

Proven experience within the HVAC industry, ideally in a technical sales or applications role

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and system design principles

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Results-oriented and target-driven, with a proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving

Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and technical submittals

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM or ERP systems advantageous

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
