Hyreus are currently recruiting for 2 HVAC Technical Design Engineers in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
HVAC system design
Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, and other design calculations
Create design documentation
Prepare design specifications, drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Assist in code compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, test results, and project progress.
The candidate:
Experience in the HVAC or Refrigeration Sector.
Bachelor's degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering
Some knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork design. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and industry practices is a plus.
Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
Knowledge of ASHPs, Chillers, Ahus, Heat Recovery, High Temp Heat Pumps, Crac Units, Multipurpose Heat Pumps, Water Cooled units, Buffer Tanks and Heat Exchangers etc would be beneficial
